Greg Johns has been working as a full-time sculptor for 40 years, completing major commissions in Australia and internationally, as well as exhibiting annually in solo and major group shows in Australia, New York, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. His most recent solo exhibition was at the ReDot Fine Art Gallery, Singapore, in 2016.
In 2012, he won Australia’s premier sculpture prize, the McClelland Museum Sculpture Award, and has had major commissions in Ireland; Sydney; Melbourne and Adelaide.
Greg established an independent sculpture landscape on his 400 acres of Palmer land to exhibit sculptures and to address environmental issues.
He is currently working on a major commission, titled ‘Landlines’, to be situated at the entrance to Gawler, as well as working on significant solo shows at the Palmer Sculpture Landscape and with Australian Galleries, Melbourne.
